Last year we wrote that we were going to open a new office in the Czech Republic. So, we did! The year has passed, the office is here and five of our engineers working with all their might. One of them is Vincent Hennebert.
Vincent is French; he’s lived in Prague for several years now. His first year in Xored Vincent worked remotely waiting patiently for our developers to get working visas.
We were wondering how his story began and what has changed since the arrival of the Russian team. We also wanted to know how he gets on with them. We asked Vincent to tell us what he likes about our Prague office, what people we need there and how to get a job in Xored.
Here is his story, interesting and diverse. (more…)
Xored exists for 10 years, and during these years we can say that we learned how to hire engineers:
- 24 employees on Jan 1st, 2013
- 42 employees on Jan 1st, 2014
- 75 employees on Jan 1st, 2015
…and build very capable Engineering Teams. In our company developers are responsible for technological choice, for tools and processes in their projects. They communicate with customers by themselves. We call it semi-autonomous engineering teams. It’s time to build Software Engineering companies around the world, relatively stable structures around 80 employees per location (office). New territories with a lot of talented engineers become essential to keep growing. So, we’re opening a new office in the Czech Republic.
Will the Prague office differ from the Russian one somehow? And what specialists do we need there? One of our Vice Presidents of Engineering Ruslan Mustakov will answer to all these questions. Ruslan and his team are the first to go to Prague and build Xored there. He is going to lead the office in Prague and he is especially interested in hiring new employees who have ability and desire to relocate to Prague from Brno or Europe.
Ruslan’s career is really interesting and inspiring. In less than 3 years, he has worked his way up from intern to vice president. (more…)
